Brotherhood & Beyond

A structured mentorship program for young Black and Brown men, pairing mentees with caring adult mentors from eighth grade through senior year. Rise Together, Lead Ahead.

Our Mission

To empower young Black and Brown men to live with purpose, integrity, empathy, accountability, and a commitment to serving something greater than themselves.

Motto: Rise Together, Lead Ahead!

The Program

More than a mentor, a brotherhood

Mentees are paired with caring adult mentors and engage in brotherhood meetings, one-on-one check-ins, group outings, guest speakers, community engagement, leadership development, and academic and career preparation.

The program helps young men build confidence, identity, emotional intelligence, wellness, relationships, and life skills as they prepare for college, careers, athletics, and adulthood. Mentees participate from eighth grade through senior year, with structured programming September through June and year-round check-ins. After graduation, mentees transition into an ongoing advising relationship, because the Brotherhood & Beyond community stays in their corner for good.

  • Eighth grade through senior year, then ongoing advising
  • Caring adult mentors and a real brotherhood
